Pure water in itself doesn’t damage the silver, but most of the water we’re exposed to, in our daily lives isn’t purified. So to avoid dull looking silver, try keeping it away from water/moisture exposure.
In case the jewellery does get wet, dry it completely before putting it away.
Let your jewellery be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off! Perfumes, sweat, detergents, chlorine and other chemicals can corrode the brilliant shine you love in your silver.
To prevent air exposure and moisture, keep the silver jewels in your ‘aaravee’ boxes or airtight bags.
Also make sure to not bunch pieces together, to avoid the potential scratching.
